1. Scope and who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Newbery International LLC collects, uses, shares and protects personal information received through this website, general enquiries, appointment booking and related client communications. A client engagement may also be subject to additional notices and engagement terms.

Newbery International LLC is based in Colorado, United States. Questions about this policy or personal information can be sent to matthew@newberyinternational.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect your name, email address, telephone number, current country or location, enquiry type, appointment details and the information you include in a message. If you become a client, we may collect information needed to provide the agreed professional services and meet legal or professional obligations.

Appointments and secure services

When you book an appointment or use a client service, information may be processed through FluentBooking, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom, TaxDome or the secure file-transfer service. Confidential tax records and sensitive identifiers should be sent only through an approved secure channel—not the general contact form or ordinary email.

Technical information

The website and its providers may process IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, security logs and essential cookie data.

3. How we use information

  • Respond to enquiries and determine whether Newbery International may be able to assist.
  • Schedule and administer appointments, including online meeting details.
  • Provide agreed professional services and manage client relationships.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and related systems.
  • Maintain business records and comply with legal, tax, regulatory and professional obligations.
  • Protect the rights, safety and security of Newbery International, clients and others.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on consent, steps requested before entering an agreement, performance of an agreement, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests that are not overridden by individual rights.

4. When information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers that support website hosting, email, scheduling, video meetings, client portals, secure file exchange, information security and professional operations. These providers process information according to their own terms and applicable contractual obligations.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, regulators, government authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect legal rights, prevent fraud or security incidents, or complete a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

5. International processing

Newbery International is based in the United States and works with internationally mobile clients. Information submitted from another country may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. Where required, reasonable safeguards are used for international transfers.

6. Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, an active or potential engagement, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and legal or professional obligations. Different records may have different retention periods.

Reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures are used to protect information. No website, email or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, which is why sensitive records should be sent through the designated secure client services.

7. Privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of personal information. You may also be entitled to withdraw consent or complain to a relevant privacy authority.

To make a request, email matthew@newberyinternational.com. Reasonable information may be requested to verify identity and authority before a request is completed. Newbery International does not discriminate against individuals for exercising applicable privacy rights.

8. Cookies and browser controls

The website may use cookies or similar technologies needed for core operation, security, form handling, booking and aggregated performance information. Browser settings can be used to block or delete cookies, although some features may then function differently.

9. Children

This website is intended for adults seeking professional tax or advisory services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the general website.

10. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as services, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date displayed on this page identifies the current version.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to matthew@newberyinternational.com or by calling 720-272-3909.
